I believe every newborn session should be relaxed and tailored around the needs of you and your new baby. I aim to capture as many images in the style of your choice, creating precious memories for you to display and cherish.

When to book your newborn photography session?

If your wanting sleepy curled up images, newborn sessions should ideally be booked for when the baby is approximately 2 weeks old or under. This is the perfect time as the baby is still very sleepy and naturally curly, giving me the freedom to try out various poses. Bookings should be made based upon your estimated due date, but can be changed as babies do not always arrive on schedule. My little one decided to come 4 weeks early! The actual date of your shoot can be confirmed once baby has arrived and everyone is settled. Older baby shots can be arranged for whenever suits you, the rolling over stage, crawling and sitting up stage can is also a magical time for images.

What to expect from your newborn/baby session?

Sessions typically last 1.5-2 hours, this extended time give us plenty of time for you to feed, change, settle and soothe where necessary. I find that sessions in the comfort of  your home in your surroundings helps baby feel relaxed and more at ease in front of the camera and lights. I have a mobile studio with lighting and backdrops I can bring with me. For older babies in warmer months an outdoor location can be beautiful  local beautiful.

What is included in the session fee?

Initial conversation and booking.
Personalised 1.5-2 hour session.
Partner/sibling images.
Editing, retouching and selecting the best image for you to view online on an private gallery. Approx 50 image or more.
